Solo Command

The "Solo Selection" command hides everything except the currently selected elements. If all of the visible elements are selected, running the command displays everything. This lets you toggle the solo effect on and off: select one or more elements, run "Solo Selection", look at the elements by themselves, then run "Solo Selection" again to make everything visible.

After soloing the selection, you can use the Subselection tool to select some of the points on the object(s). This subselection is maintained if you run "Solo Selection" again, which makes it easier to drag-select the points on an object: select the object, run the command, subselect some of the points, then run the command again.

Note that if you've hidden some elements before running this command, their hidden state will not be maintained if you run this command multiple times.
