flickengr is a plug-in for Yahoo! Messenger 8.0 that displays a slideshow of the 25 most recent photos each of your contacts have uploaded. If you have a Flickr account, the slideshow also includes any of your Flickr contacts who may not be on Messenger. The content tab checks for new photos from each of your contacts every 12 hours. In between, it will display the most recent photos that it found during the last check.

Features:

  Click the arrow buttons to move to the next or previous photo, from oldest to newest. If the tab has keyboard focus (because you've clicked in it), you can also press the left and right arrow keys to move through the photos.
• 
  Click the play/pause button to start or stop the slideshow. The photo changes every 7 seconds.
• 
  This menu shows the name of the person who uploaded the current photo. Quickly jump to the photos of another contact by clicking in the menu. You can accomplish the same thing by selecting a contact in your Mesesnger List.
• 
  Click the Options button to open the Options dialog. There can you enter your Flickr screenname as well as the screennames of your Messenger contacts.
• 
  When you hover the mouse over the photo, a toolbar with additional options is displayed.
• 
  Click the IM button to send an instant message to the person who posted the photo. A URL to the photo is entered as the default message.
• 
  Click the comment button to post a comment about the photo. You'll need to be signed into your Flickr account to add a comment.
• 
  Click the block button to hide the current photo from the slideshow. This won't delete the photo; it just won't display it anymore, which can be useful if someone's posted non-work-safe pictures.
• 
  The photo's description is displayed here. Hover over it to see the date the photo was uploaded.

  Click the tab's Full View button to see larger photos to the left of the main window.
